ABOUT PRODUCEHER
ERIKA TRIBBLE
Erika Tribble completed her advertising degree at Florida State University. She landed her first advertising internship at DDB Chicago and her second internship at Saatchi & Saatchi NY. Erika established a strong advertising discipline working across some of America’s favorite brands including Wendy’s, Procter & Gamble, General Mills, IBM, IKEA, Unilever, and Visa during her 8 years in NY. Word was spreading that the production scene in Atlanta was beginning to flourish and Erika set her goals on transforming her advertising experience into a management role at an Atlanta production company. The transition took about 2 years of IMDB credits, but in 2014 Erika became the season 2 Production Manager on "The Awesomes," an animated Hulu series produced by Seth Myers and Michael Shoemaker. She also lent her experience to advertising agencies as a senior integrated producer at JWT and Fitzco, working on Pennzoil, McCormick, and Coca-Cola. The pressure being felt nationwide to produce multipurpose content for radio, TV, web, and social, strengthened Erika’s ability to produce multipurpose deliverables for all platforms.
Where many succumbed to the pressures being felt nationwide in 2020, Erika saw opportunity. Remote work was a new way of life and she accepted a remote freelance opportunity at a previous employer, Ogilvy NY, and helped Instagram launch their first brand campaign. The challenge was exhilarating, as she managed a bicoastal remote shoot with 2 partnering directors and crews. COVID restrictions were closely observed in order to capture 36 on-set OCP influencers and 60 additional national talent through dropkits. Following the success of the national remote campaign, Erika was hired to lead social content on the Starbucks brand as a Senior Producer at Big Spaceship.
It’s easy to say that hard work has never been a challenge for the self-proclaimed produceHER, Erika Tribble. She has a love for masterful storytelling and a talent for maximizing production efficiency. Erika is currently enjoying her remote work with Big Spaceship based in Brooklyn, NY and her Starbucks client based in Seattle, Washington.
In Erika's spare time, she is pursuing her Executive Level MBA at Howard University with the goal of further leading innovative brands as platforms evolve into the future. Her leadership and production skills have also supported her election to become the Community Board Chair for Programming at The Gathering Spot in DC, a black owned and operated members only club with nation wide membership. At The Gathering Spot, she plans events across the DMV area for over 2,000 esteemed members. Erika has been awarded a fellowship with the Marsh McLennan RISE program to become a change maker and to develop leading social justice initiatives. The program will enhance her expertise in the areas of risk, strategy, and people. She will attend workshops and engage in one-on-one coaching and sponsorship trainings for personalized leadership development.
