ERIKA TRIBBLE, MBA 

Erika Tribble is a seasoned marketing professional and entrepreneur with an Executive MBA in Marketing from Howard University and a Bachelor's degree in Advertising from Florida State University. She began her career with a two-year marketing internship at Blue Cross and Blue Shield Florida during her freshman and sophomore years of college. Following this foundational experience, Erika secured a coveted internship at DDB Chicago in her junior year and another at Saatchi & Saatchi New York during her senior year. After completing her internships, she spent eight years in New York, where she honed her skills working with iconic brands across multiple verticals, including:
- Quick Service Restaurants (QSR): Wendy’s
- Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG): Procter & Gamble, General Mills
- Technology: IBM
- Retail and Home Goods: IKEA
- Consumer Goods: Unilever
- Financial Services: Visa

 

Recognizing the burgeoning production scene in Atlanta, Erika transitioned from advertising to a management role within the production industry. After two years of earning IMDB credits, she achieved this goal in 2014, becoming the Production Manager for season 2 of "The Awesomes," an animated Hulu series produced by Seth Meyers and Michael Shoemaker. Erika continued to lend her expertise to top advertising agencies, serving as a Senior Integrated Producer at JWT and Fitzco, where she contributed to campaigns across verticals such as:
- Military and Defense: US Marine Corps
- Automotive: Pennzoil
- Food and Beverage: McCormick, Coca-Cola
- Retail: Build-A-Bear
- Energy: Scana Energy, Southern Company


The increasing demand for multi-platform content production only strengthened her ability to deliver versatile, high-impact content across radio, print, TV, web, and social channels.

In 2016, Erika established Take Flight Productions, where she leverages her marketing and production expertise as an entrepreneur. In 2020, amidst the nationwide shift to remote work, Erika saw opportunity where others saw challenge. Through Take Flight Productions, she embraced a remote freelance role with Ogilvy NY, helping Instagram launch its first brand campaign. Erika successfully managed a bicoastal remote shoot with two partnering directors and crews, demonstrating her adaptability and leadership in a rapidly changing industry. Additionally, through Take Flight Productions, Erika is currently helping CheeseCaked, a popular Atlanta-based dessert company, create a shelf-stable milkshake product, expand to a new central location in Midtown Atlanta, and manage partnership relationships. Through her company, she has also lent her production skills to Murder Hornet ATL, a company entering the advertising space. Erika worked with them on one of their first clients, Zoom, helping to build and establish the brand in an already crowded advertising industry. Her work with these clients spans verticals such as:
- Retail: CheeseCaked
- Social Media and Technology: Instagram
- FinTech and Technology: Zoom

 

Following the Ogilvy NY project, Erika joined SPCSHP New York, where she lead social content efforts for Starbucks and has since spearheaded marketing for Paze, a new FinTech brand from the makers of Zelle. She has also contributed to campaigns for Chase Bank. Her work with SPCSHP spans verticals such as:
- Food and Beverage: Starbucks
- FinTech: Paze
- Financial Services: Chase Bank


Erika's dedication to social justice and leadership has been recognized through several prestigious fellowships. She was awarded a fellowship with Marsh McLennan RISE (Racial Inclusion and Social Equity), which acknowledges her as a change-maker committed to social justice initiatives. She is also one of ten recipients of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund Fellowship, which highlights high-achieving graduate students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) with C-Suite potential. Additionally, Erika was selected as a Disney Mentee in the Disney on the Yard program, which is dedicated to building a community for HBCU alumni at The Walt Disney Company. Through these programs, Erika has gained expertise in risk, strategy, people management, and executive leadership, complemented by personalized coaching, sponsorship training, and mentorship to excel in the marketing industry.
